I think we started envisioning our honeymoon as soon as we got engaged. We both just skipped basically over the entire wedding and went straight to the honeymoon. Mark and I love to travel and we desperately want to do more of it, so planning a "once in a lifetime trip" was right up our alley! Ever since we starting envisioning it, we've had a LOT of trouble narrowing it down! We were all over the place! Bora Bora, Santorini, Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Thailand, Bali, Maldives, Sechelles....you name it, we wanted to go there. Obviously (from the places i just named) we are orienting it towards beaches. We both love the water. I mean, don't get me wrong...we want to do other things too...but lying on a beach sipping a fruity cocktail is my idea of vacation! At least for the first day or two after the wedding. We do also want some adventure in there as well...like snorkeling, deep sea fishing, catamaran cruise, hiking, zip-lines, kayaking, jet ski tours...whatever! So we've made a list of our top places and now we need you guys to help us narrow it down even more!

OMG...Bora Bora for sure!
Let me talk to my friend that lives in Hawaii. She is pretty familiar with the resorts-- her husband is military and stationed in Iraq, so whenever he comes home they go to the resorts for a few nights.
I've been to both of the Hawaiian Island you are considering. I'd say you were the Maui type, it's pretty obvious you like luxury and don't mind spending big bugs to have the most beautiful honeymoon ever. The Four Seasons at Wailea has it all. We stayed there and were treated royally. To help you with your decision you should buy the book No Worries Hawaii that lists all the pros and cons and shows what each island looks like and has to offer. You can get it at any Barnes and Noble or Borders or online at Amazon. Congratulations to you two! Adele
Bora Bora...DUH!
